Infant Portraits:
Did you miss the newborn time? That's okay. We can capture beautiful
images at any age. Three months (or when sitting up) and nine months
(when child can stand with support) are also wonderful times to
photograph. These are the times when huge smiles and laughs abound!
Who couldn't love that?
Toddler Portraits: Toddler photography is usually a bit of
a challenge. Typically, once the child has learned how to walk, it is
hard to keep him still. However, I am up for the challenge! Toddlers
have short attention spans, so working quickly is important. I usually
try to contain them a bit utilizing some props, but my favorite thing to
do is get toddlers outside when weather permits and photograph them in a
natural environment where they can give me a good workout! :)
Children Portraits:
A typical photography session for children is relaxed and fun. Children
are allowed to be themselves. I prefer that we don't say "cheese" but
instead, I want to connect with your child by talking with them, or I
may get their attention so that I can grab that special shot when they
are least expecting it. We do use the studio setup; however, I also
like to bring the kids outside when possible onto the backyard and
around the property to capture completely unique photos in a more
natural environment.
